Tomorrow will see the release of the Nike Air Engineered Mesh ‘Beaches of Rio’ Pack. The vibrantly coloured Pack seems to have a fair few fans but some will be disappointed with the news that the Nike Air Max 97 has been dropped from the collection and the colourway of the Nike Air Max 95 switching at the last minute. Inspired by the cariocas, exotic birds, sand and water, the pack is a celebration of the vivid scenes along the beautiful Brasilian coastline.
The Nike ‘Beaches of Rio’ Pack will be available at Quickstrike accounts from Midnight on the 10th May at Wellgosh, Urban Industry and Crooked Tongues.

Images of the Nike ‘Beaches of Rio’ Quickstrike Pack have been circulating online for sometime now. Sample images showed the Nike Air Max 95 in a White colourway but the production version couldn’t be anymore different. Ever so slightly reminiscent of the Nike Air Max 95 EM that dropped as part of the City Pack a few months ago. Here at Asylum Sneaker, we’re warming towards the production coulorway. I’m pretty sure that you don’t need reminding but for those of you that have been hiding under a rock of recent, the Nike Air Jordan V ‘Grape’ will be re-releasing tomorrow, Saturday 4th May at select Jordan stockists. Now those of you lucky enough to pick these up in 2006 probably aren’t interested this time round but I bet you’ll secretly be picking these up. For the rest of us, the re-release of the Nike Air Jordan V Grape is great news. Possibly the most popular and perhaps sought after Nike Air Jordan V colourway not including the Quai54 and PE colourways to be released. In comparison to the 2006 version, yes the price has gone up a little but I guess that is to be expected. On a positive note, the 2013 Retro material and build wise is a notch above. A favourite sneaker of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Jerry Seinfeld and King Ralph and many sneakerheads worldwide. Check out the rest of the pictures after the Jump.

This Friday 19th April 2013 will see the Nike Air Trainer 1 Premium Quickstrike release. The Nike Air Trainer 1 certainly has it’s loyal fans so this release will be great news for them as it’s been quite a while since we last saw the Air Trainer 1 silhouette. The Nike SB Trainer 1′s were probably the last releases that got any attention and the days of the ‘Shima Shima’ Pack are long gone now. The Nike Air Trainer 1 Mid Premium Quickstrike 607081-001 has already been given the ‘Gucci’ nickname which means that these will already get more attention than originally thought. Premium leather and Ostrich uppers teamed up with a Black, Green and Red colourway (hence the Gucci nickname) are all elements that shout out winner to me. The Nike Air Trainer 1 Mid Premium ‘Gucci’ Quickstrike 607081-001 will release this Friday at select Quickstrike accounts including Wellgosh, Urban Industry and Crooked Tongues. The Nike Free Inneva Woven has made massive moves since we first saw it at the back end of 2012 with every release so far selling out pretty much instantly. This Friday will see the release of yet another strong colourway for the Inneva Woven. With the weather finally starting to pick up, the release of the Free Inneva Woven arrives perfectly in time for Spring. A hefty price tag of £160 will put some people off but this shoe in our opinion is worth every penny, I guess that’s the price you pay for a hand woven shoe! Expect the Nike Free Inneva Woven Quickstrike Black/Poison Green to hit select Quickstrike Accounts including Wellgosh, Crooked Tongues, Urban Industry and Size? from this Friday 12th April in very limited numbers. European Sneakerheads have had to be patient but tonight at Midnight (UK time), NikeStore will be releasing a limited run of the Nike Air Jordan III ’88. As expected, this release is way up there on many peoples lists. Good Luck!
Nike continue to push the Nike Woven concept to the next level with the release of the Nike Inneva Woven SP in 2 colourways for Spring 13. Off the back of a hugely successful Tier 0 release late last year, the Nike Inneva Woven gets a well deserved return, this time in 2 colourways. Similar to last years release, one colourway features an all Black woven upper and a super soft leather heel panel and tongue featuring a subtle embossed NSW logo. The Off White Nike Free 5.0 Sole Unit is non-offensive unlike the Free soles featured on last years Nike Air Huarache Free LE. Personally, I’ll be switching out the Blue laces in favor of some simple Black ones but each to their own The second colourway features a vibrant Blue upper, this one certainly isn’t for the faint hearted. The Nike Inneva Woven SP will be releasing at Midnight at many of the better Sneaker Spots including Wellgosh, Crooked Tongues, Urban Industry, Hanon, End and Size? retailing at a £160 (GBP).

Nike had massive success with the release of the Tier 0 Inneva that dropped late last year. This Spring, Nike bring us an updated version of the shoe that started it all off, the Air Woven. Always keen to push boundaries this Quickstrike release features a 3.0 Free Sole far reduced weight and added flexibility. Nike have not only reworked the sole unit this season but they’ve also addressed the pricing. With the original Nike Air Woven carrying a price tag of £115 last year, the new Nike Woven Free Quickstrike will retail for £97.
