On August 18, MCC signed a Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreementwith the Daxing District People's Government of Beijing Municipality. Chen Jianguang, Deputy General Manager and member of the Party Leadership Group of China Minmetals, Secretary of the Party Committee of MCC, and Chairman of MCC and China MCC held work talks and witnessed the signing of the Agreement with Liu Xueliang, Deputy Secretary of Daxing District Committee of the CPC and District Governor; Zhu Guangxia, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of MCC and China MCC and Vice President of China MCC, and Wu Jie, member of the Party Leadership Group of Daxing District People's Government of Beijing Municipality and Deputy District Governor, signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreementon behalf of both parties.
Chen Jianguang extended his gratitude to the Daxing District Committee of the CPC and Daxing District People's Government of Beijing Municipality for their long-term support to MCC, and introduced the basic situation of MCC. He pointed out that the MCC has successfully transformed in recent years by virtue of the professional technical advantages and business qualification advantages accumulated in the field of iron and steel metallurgy, built a business structure of "One Core, Two Main Bodies, and Five Characteristics", and is making unremitting efforts towards the striving goal of "One Establishment, the Best and the Most Trusted, and Five Strengths". MCC attaches great importance to the Daxing regional market, and multiple key subsidiaries have undertaken a series of landmark projects in the Daxing District, establishing a long-term and good foundation for cooperation. MCC will take this signing as an opportunity to give full play to the advantages of the whole industrial chain of investment, financing, construction, and operation, and deepen cooperation with Daxing District in various fields such as urban renewal, regional development, ecological and environmental protection to promote both sides to achieve a higher level of mutual benefit and win-win situation.
Liu Xueliang welcomed the visit of Chen Jianguang and his entourage, and briefly introduced the basic situation and development plan of Daxing District. He said that, as the "Three Zones and One Portal" of a demonstration zone for the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, a leading area for scientific and technological innovation, a leading zone for deepening urban-rural development and reform, and a new portal for international exchanges in Beijing, Daxing District is currently in an important period of strategic opportunities. Daxing will continue to maintain a good trend of "rapid development and growth of Daxing District", and achieve the "six great developments" in industries, people's livelihoods, culture, ecology, cities, and rural areas, comprehensively building a new prosperous and open Daxing District that is suitable for living and entrepreneurship. He hoped that MCC and Daxing District will continuously expand cooperation fields, innovate cooperation models, improve cooperation effectiveness, and work together to create a new chapter in cooperation between governments and enterprises and build a new situation of win-win development.
